Safety Latch Information
| Safety Latching |
| Where there is a possibility of entrapment within a latched enclosure, safety standards require the use of a latch or handle fitted with an inside release mechanism. Latches without this feature which are shown in this catalog are intended for use only on small units or units with insufficient space for entrapment. |
| Dent Safety Latches |
| Dent Safety Latches prevent entrapment in walk-in coolers, when used with the appropriate inside release handle. These latches can be released from the inside even when cylinder locked or padlocked. |
| Inside Release Mechanisms |
| Dent strongly suggests testing the operation of the inside release mechanism after installation. For an inside release to function properly, all designated parts must be installed correctly. |
